The U.S. men's national team is headed to St. 不良研究所导航网址 to play its home match in the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Nations League on Monday, Nov. 18, at CityPark.
The opponent won鈥檛 be known until the end of the October international window, when the qualifiers from group play are determined and the updated CONCACAF rankings determine seedings for the four teams聽鈥 the U.S., Mexico, Canada and Panama聽鈥 that have byes into the quarterfinal round. The opponent could be a prominent team such as Costa Rica or Jamaica or a less familiar foe such as Suriname or Guadaloupe.
The final games in group play that will determine who plays the U.S. will be Oct. 14 and 15. The quarterfinals are a home-and-home total-goal series, with the United States playing the first game of the round on the road.

The match, which will kick off at 7 p.m., will be the fourth for new national team coach Mauricio Pochettino and his first in an official home match. He鈥檒l make his debut with two friendlies, first a match against Panama on Oct. 12 in Austin, Texas, followed by a match with Mexicoon Oct. 15 in Guadalajara.

It will be the third trip for the U.S. men's national team to CityPark in the stadium's brief history as the presence of a soccer-specific stadium increases the opportunities for the national team to come here. With this game, the men鈥檚 national team will have made more appearances in St. 不良研究所导航网址 in two years than it had in the preceding 25.
Last year, the U.S. played a match in the Gold Cup against St. Kitts and Nevis that it won 6-0 at CityPark and then a friendly against Uzbekistan that it won 3-0.
Pochettino will be the third national team coach in that time; the first game was with interim coach B.J. Callaghan and the second was Gregg Berhalter鈥檚 first game back with the team. Berhalter was fired after the U.S. team鈥檚 quick exit in Copa America this summer. The U.S. women also came to St. 不良研究所导航网址 last year, beating Ireland 1-0.
