On Oct. 18, 2008, on a beautiful day before a record-setting crowd, Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama greeted St. 不良研究所导航网址ans at the Arch on a Midwest campaign stop.
The Secret Service estimated the crowd at more than 80,000, while the St. 不良研究所导航网址 police claimed it was close to 100,000. Obama's campaign said the rally was his largest to date.
"What a spectacular sight! All I can say is wow," said Obama, before launching into his campaign pitch.
